Thanks to the driving force of Louise Nobes from KIK Innovation, founding partners Loftus Technology, FIXE and the Department of Skills and Innovation, 42 opened its first Australian campus in Adelaide in 2021.
KIK believes that all young people can be great, no matter their life experience and the opportunity for quality education should be accessible to all, so when they discovered 42 they felt an immediate alignment to their social impact goals. The traditional education pathways in Australia are often unable to keep up with changing technology trends and don’t help students build the in demand practical, problem solving and social skills, and 42 is the answer to this need. Working with local hiring partners and sponsors, we will provide students with career pathways, start-up and entrepreneurial support and connections into Adelaide’s start-up and tech ecosystem.
