The 42 team is made up of a diverse and passionate group of individuals, each bringing a wide range of skills, experiences, and perspectives to the table. United by a shared mission, they work together to empower students, support innovation, and shape the future of tech education on a global scale.

Their mission? Guiding students through their first lines of code, organizing community events, connecting and supporting our 57 campuses, and building partnerships that open new opportunities. Every member of the 42 team brings their expertise to the table each day, helping keep the 42 experience dynamic, inclusive, and impactful.

A WORD FROM SOPHIE VIGER, CEO OF 42

Have you heard the story of the credit card that, because of its algorithm, proposed higher credit rates to women? Or the automatic soap dispenser that would not recognize the skin of people of color? And what about the AI that assigned the masculine gender to anyone called ‘doctor’?

Tomorrow’s computer science is on the tip of everyone’s fingers. At 42, we have the opportunity to make it happen. In order to create the truly inclusive world of tomorrow, we do need every talent available, wherever they may come from. This is the only way the industry can grow healthily and benefit from the opportunities that new technologies offer. Our goal is to attract talent from various horizons, who bring their own experience to help design universal solutions; for whom one achievement is never enough. Technologies grow fast: The status quo is constantly overridden and one needs to anticipate mutations that do not exist yet. I’m proud to be heading a network of campuses that don’t only train a new generation of developers but also serve as an inspiring model for the whole IT industry in France and around the world!
