With extensive experience in the field of education and extensive research in the field of pedagogical innovation, Meltem Akbulut Yıldırmış was appointed Director of the 42 in Türkiye campuses (42 Istanbul & 42 Kocaeli). After implementing several major changes in the management of both campuses, she now turns to the future, seeking to bolster their local recognition and multiply possible outcomes for her students.
42 Kocaeli: Paving an Alternative Path for Turkish Students in Tech
Launched in 2021, as part of the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology’s wider National Technology Initiative, 42 Kocaeli’s aim was to open a new pathway for Turkish students who wish to pursue a career in Tech. With already more than 3000 students having gone through the Piscine and over 300 active students, the campus is looking to grow even further in the coming years.
