With experience in various domains, including R&D, data science, IoT, digital marketing, growth hacking and of course, education, Wissam Sammouri became the director of 42 Beirut when the campus opened, in 2024. With the campus having undergone major challenges in its first year only, we sat down with him to reflect on his first year as director of a 42 campus.
42 Beirut: Showing Resilience Like No Other!
Located in the heart of the Beirut Digital District, a one-minute walk away from the historic Downtown Beirut and five minutes from the city’s famous waterfront, 42 Beirut opened in early 2024. In a country that has faced several crises over the years, 42 Beirut seeks to empower the Lebanese youth and address the country’s brain-drain issue by offering new opportunities and proof of skills.
