After 4 successful years in Brussels, in October 2022, the founders of 19 decided to expand the Brussels campus by opening a second campus in Antwerp.
Antwerp is a major city in Belgium, not only in terms of economy and commerce but also for its cultural and technological dynamism, making it an ideal choice for the establishment of Campus19.
Its strategic location within the offices of DPG Media, one of the largest media groups in Belgium, places Campus19 at the heart of an innovation and technology ecosystem. Additionally, its proximity to Antwerp Central Station, one of the country’s most important stations, makes it easily accessible for students.
Like Brussels, Antwerp experiences a high unemployment rate and a significant number of young people leaving school without qualifications. At the same time, there is strong demand for talent in the digital and tech sectors and local companies are actively seeking qualified professionals. Campus19 addresses this need by offering an alternative and high-quality educational method.
The involvement of 15 sponsors from major Belgian companies and foundations goes beyond funding the school, they support the digital transformation in Belgium and provide concrete career opportunities to the talents trained at Campus19.
In addition to offering cutting-edge training, Campus19 aims to be open to all and to create a diverse student community from various social and professional backgrounds. This diversity enriches exchanges and fosters a unique collaborative learning environment, where every individual journey contributes to collective growth.
Since its creation, Campus19 has helped 279 young people secure jobs and offered 137 internships.EET youth. In addition, it also wants to reach other vulnerable groups by offering a technical training that pays attention to social inclusion.
