To welcome our students, 42 Marseille has set up in the heart of the city, in a place
that combines history and modern design: the Grand Central building at 19 rue Henri
Barbusse. This iconic building, originally the “Nouvel Hôtel des Postes,” was built in
1936 by architect Auguste Bluysen and has been completely renovated. Today, it
also hosts La Provence, Marseille’s historic newspaper.
Grand Central is a vibrant hub for work and education, promoting interaction,
collaboration, and the development of innovative and ambitious projects. The building
also hosted the Albert School (focused on data), ZEBOX (CMA CGM Group’s startup
accelerator), and the AI Media Lab, a research center focused on artificial
intelligence.
The 42 Marseille campus covers 1,000 m² over two floors, with 150 workstations
designed for collaborative learning and personal growth. There is also a large 280 m²
space for relaxation and meals, encouraging informal conversations and a friendly
atmosphere.
The campus is open 24/7, giving students the freedom to learn at their own pace and
schedule. The spaces are designed to be creative, innovative, and motivating.
42 Marseille is more than a school, it is a place where future developers can grow,
improve their skills, and reach their full potential.
